FCCLA Curriculum Resources
Curriculum Projects with Guidelines and Rubrics
FCCLA has project guidelines and rubrics that fit into many lesson units. They can be used as a large project or can be broken into smaller assignments. The rubrics align with many National and Pennsylvania Standards. These include STAR Events and Skills Demonstrations.
STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members work on proficiency and occupational preparation.
Skills Demonstrations provide opportunities for FCCLA members to demonstrate career-readiness skills. These guidelines and rubrics are only available to affiliated advisers. You will find them on your affiliation portal under Resources in the accordion Competitive Events.

Course Curriculums
FCCLA has developed curriculums in areas related to FCCLA National Programs. Each National Program comes with a wealth of engaging resources, including lesson plans, activities, and project ideas carefully curated for seamless integration into classrooms. Pennsylvania FCCLA has purchased curriculums through a grant. Contact our state facilitator Mrs. Nadine Standley nstandley@pa.gov for more information. Some curriculums are automatically added to your affiliation portal under Resources in the accordion Purchased Publications.
Check the National Programs web page.
Free Curriculums
These curriculums can easily be used in an FCCLA chapter. These projects can earn chapter recognition from the curriculum organizations and from FCCLA when your member enter their project in a STAR Event. Be sure to create some media buzz for our projects.
