The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College Scholarships

Scholarships from The Restaurant School of Walnut Hill College have been confirmed for 2010 as follows: 

The Restaurant School of Walnut Hill College offers twelve scholarships to PA FCCLA members.

• First, second, and third place STAR Events Hospitality individual or team winners ($3000, $1800, $1200)
• First, second, and third place STAR Events Pastry Arts-Cake Decorating individual winners ($3000, $1800, $1200)

Scholarships may be applied to either an Associate of Science or a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Hotel Management or Restaurant Management, and must be used within six months of the winner's high school graduation date.

The 2010 scholarship recipients are:

•  Haley Gunnell and Jessica Hatheway from A. W. Beattie Career Center

• John Anderson, Ashley Fine, Victoria Gaebel from Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center

• Linsey Haberstroh from Lehigh Career and Technical Institute
