They believe that by working with others, we will be able to do this by 2015. They want to make sure not only that America’s children have enough to eat, but that they are getting the nutrition to live healthy and active lives. ‘Share Our Strength’s highest priority is to make sure that every child in America gets the nutritious food that they need to learn, grow, and thrive. They improve the access to healthy, nutritious food to families all across the country that they can get for an affordable cost. They create partnerships, build public awareness, invest in communities with grants to organizations whose work improves access to nutritious foods or that educate families about such programs, and educate children and families. So how does FCCLA help? Every dollar counts. Every dollar that is raised can help provide one child with up to ten meals. Need fundraising ideas?
