FCCLA Chapters Congratulations to the following PA FCCLA chapters for submitting 2010 National Programs Awards Applications: A. W. Beattie Career Center, Berks Career and Technology Center East OCD, Cambria Heights Senior High School, Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School, East Forest Junior/Senior High School, James Buchanan High School, Mohawk Senior High School, Northern Cambria High School, South Williamsport Junior/Senior High School, Susquenita Middle School, Titusville Middle School, and West Forest Junior/Senior High School National FCCLA Program Awards National Programs Awards Applications must be submitted electronically by March 1. Check the national FCCLA website to access the online application. Family and Consumer Sciences lesson plans to integrate FCCLA national programs are available on the national FCCLA website. The award online applications are available on the Awards page under Youth Awards of the national Website. 1. The user creates an account and password by first logging in using the Chapter ID number.2. The user may print the blank application form by clicking on the preview link under each national program. Viewing the application first will ensure that all criteria are included when planning the project. 3. The application may be saved and accessed later, as the user navigates through each page of the award application and enters the information. 4. The completed application may be reviewed and should be printed before clicking the final submit button. 5. Award applications may be submitted at any time during the school year, but by March 1. State Recognition Chapters receive state recognition for participating in national programs. The chapter adviser should report participation in national programs to the state office by the State Leadership Conference registration deadline. |
