What Do I Get For My Dues?

How much are national and state FCCLA Dues?

National dues are $9.00 and Pennsylvania state dues are $6.00 per member.  The dues payment is sent as one sum to the Lockbox Address on the affiliation form.  Chapters may also affiliate online.  Middle level chapters also have the option of affiliating all family and consumer sciences students for a flat fee of $750. ($450 national and $300 state)

November 30 is the Pennsylvania FCCLA postmark affiliation deadline in order for students to participate in state STAR Events.

November 30 is the national FCCLA postmark affiliation deadline in order to continue receiving full services including the Jan/Feb issue of Teen Times.

Upon request national FCCLA will distribute one free resource to chapters who affiliate by November 1.

How FCCLA Dues are used?

Paying dues is not just about the money. It also builds members' commitment to the chapter and organization and reflects strong personal ethics. Just as adult professionals join a variety of associations to learn and develop new contacts and skills, members can prove their commitment to excellence by joining FCCLA.   • sending delegates to region meeting, state or national conferences; 

  • recognition items for members;

State dues may support ... 

  • region meetings and state conferences; 

  • state publications; 

  • activities of state officers; 

  • leadership training; 

  • special workshops; 

  • statewide projects; 

  • adviser activities; 

  • state board activities; 

  • operating expenses of state association.

National FCCLA dues support ... 

  • national member magazine: Teen Times

  • newsletter for adult leaders: The Adviser

  • mailings to chapters; 

  • national program development; 

  • program workbooks and chapter resources; 

  • training for adult and student leaders; 

  • national promotion of the organization; 

  • membership processing fees, membership cards; 

  • membership promotion; 

  • National Board of Directors and National Executive Council activities; 

  • expenses related to raising money and seeking corporate sponsors; 

  • operating expenses of the national headquarters and staff.
